Orpheus is a Priest of Morr, who travelled to Bretonnia as a result of a dream of the dead lying un-buried in a village deep in a forest.

This took him to Carentan, where he met Hans Birger. Another dream lead him to the body of Yuri Akrystahl in the stone tower called Chateau Hane in Mousillon. 

In Mousillon city, he told the two priests that ran Morr's run-down outpost in the foresaken city that he was an Augur. He needed help to warn the city that death was coming.

Whether the broken and wretched populace paid any notice is another matter. Death did come.

The only clean well in the city was poisoned. By Orpheus. This was the bargain with the Cannibal Knight, who ruled over an undead undercity, and who had come by The Brass Skull. Orpheus reluctantly concluded that death by poisoning was preferable to everyone in the city being re-animated by a foul Necromancer.

Orpheus dreamt of Gregor D'etoiles and Tilly Varsaux a few weeks before the party pursued the two children across Bretonnia and back to Marienburg.

Orpheus survived Gunther Weiss' claiming of The Brass Skull in Marienburg, and was most recently in Altdorf, where a new dream drew him deeper into The Empire.
