Rudi Gregorson's magickal talents nearly got him hung for murder, or, worse, sent for 25 years hard labour near the Kislev border. Rudi killed Hargran Torthol, without really meaning to, after years of pent-up rage brought on by events he witnessed as a child in Waldenbad. Hargran had released his mutant-snotling "pet" in amongst the bodies of the dying in Waldenbad, and the villagers screams as the snotling gnawed still haunt Rudi's dreams to this day. His sister Mina has helped him find gainful employment doing menial tasks for Josef Alatsabar. Rudi is currently frightened by his magickal talents, and is finding life with Alatasabar to be very dull.
