Grope was a very early creation by Matt, and clearly existed before Pete bought in the Dumb Character Names Ruling of 1989. No written records of Indiana Grope survive, but Matt informs me that his lifelong hatred of chaos mutants, later inherited by Yarn Yiarderssohn, was as a result of an incident that Grope was involved in. Indiana acquired a horse, which Matt alleges was cramping the GM's style and generally getting in the way of plot development. The beast of burden was eaten alive one night shortly afterwards by a pack of mutants. Grope was killed in 2518 whilst investigating a long forgotten temple in The Border Princes. He sprung a trap and was crushed by a giant rolling rock.
